Solar quotation and proposal software

A quotation that takes two days to prepare is a quotation the customer gets from someone else first. SORA turns a surveyed roof into a sized design, a bill of quantities and a proposal the customer can open on their phone.

Sound familiar?

  • Quotations built by hand in Excel, with a different version every time
  • The BOQ does not match what was actually surveyed
  • Proposals go out slowly, so competitors reach the customer first
  • Nobody can tell which quotations were opened or accepted

How SORA handles it

Sizing, generation and subsidy estimate in one step

The design studio sizes the system from the roof and the customer’s consumption, estimates generation, and works out the subsidy estimate and the BOQ together.

One BOQ, generated from the design

The bill of quantities comes from the design itself, so what is quoted is what gets procured and installed.

A proposal customers actually open

Share a proposal link the customer can read and respond to on their phone, and see when it has been viewed.

Quick quote for the first conversation

Give a ballpark number on the first call, then refine it after the survey — without starting over.

Questions

Does SORA calculate the subsidy?
The design studio includes a subsidy estimate as part of the proposal. Rules and rates change, so SORA records and shows what is configured for you rather than hard-coding values.
Can the quotation become the project?
Yes. An accepted quotation becomes the project, carrying its BOQ, customer and capacity forward, so nothing is entered again.
Does the customer need an account?
No. Customers open a link; they do not need to sign up.
